Under Windows ME, suspending /resuming the system after switching Speed Step might cause system to hang. This problem was corrected.
A process to switch the FAN parameter according to the CPU type was added
When the "Utility/Hardware" setup was set to "USB Lagacy=Enabled, a "Cherry" made Keyboard, which is USB 1.1 compliant would not work. This problem was corrected.
If a memory bigger than 256MB is installed in a machine, which is docked to the Expansion station, the system would not start after inserting a PCI display card into the Expansion station. This problem was corrected.
Under Windows 2000, if the system is hot-docked to the Enhanced Port Replicator V (PA3208U-1PRP), the Floppy Disk Controller (FDC) may be unusable because "!" mark is displayed at the FDC in the Device manager. This problem was corrected.
An intermittent hang-up problem under Windows 95 was corrected. Hot docking the machine to the Enhanced Port Replicator V (PA3208U-1PRP) with a Cardbus card inserted may result in system hang-up.
In the models with 850MHz CPU or 800MHz CPU, using an application program which gives heavy load while switching Speed Step frequently might cause problems such as system hang. This problem was corrected.
Under Windows 2000 If you set "System standby = 1min" or "System hibernation = 5 min", and then the system is returned from a "Standby" mode using the power switch, and then is shutdown using the windows Start/Shutdown, the system will shutdown in about four minutes later. This problem was corrected.
Improvement to the heat control was made to eliminate the possibility of a system hang-up while using Windows 2000, especially under high CPU loads.
Under the CRT setting of 1600x1200@75Hz, one line on the right side of display may not be displayed. This problem was corrected.

This version is updated to eliminate a CPU speed change while playing sounds.
Notes:If the previous version is installed in the system, uninstall it and reboot the PC before installing the new one. When applying the WindowsNT Service Pack, fist uninstall Toshiba Power Management (TPM), apply Service Pack, then re-install TPM. Note that TPM was certified on SP3 & SP4 & SP5 & SP6 only, so there is no assurance that it will work with future versions of Service Pack. The capability to resume PC cards after resuming depends on the HotSwap function of CardWizard and HotSwappable drivers. This capability does not work without them.Suspend request will be rejected by CardWizard when a non-HotSwappable card or ATA with open handle are in use.The system will be put into instant security mode but not actual suspend mode, when it is docked with a docking station(DS) and expansion station(EXP) and media docker(MD). This is because the option cards and SCSI in DS and EXP and MD do not support TPM. Actual suspend will cause loss of network connection and incorrect action by the SCSI device.System Auto Off does not work if Auto Run is enabled. Auto Run causes periodic interrupt, due to accessing the CD-ROM, and it prevents detection of system idle. Some unknown software may prevent System Auto Off from functioning for the same reason, even if the system appears to be idle.Ring resume function is supported with the internal modem only. It does not work with PC card modems.
